* I make all the cakes myself and  never buy in any cake.

* All cakes, including sponge, are finished with fondant over a layer of marzipan. This gives a firm base ready for decoration but it also tastes yummy.

* Sponge cake is  filled with a layer of buttercream  and raspberry jam  which I make myself  from raspberries which I  grow in my own garden.

* My fruit cake  is made from an old recipe.  You can taste each fruit and nut within the mixture, including cherries, and almonds.. -- and you’ll definitely be able to spot the  brandy!.

Of course you can have any sort of cake you like. A new addition is carrot cake made with walnuts and coconut which can also be an alternative to fruit as a wedding cake base..



When I took early retirement in 2006 I grasped the opportunity to start my own business and together with my husband, who  does all my IT, we set up Celebration Cakes. My work is done almost entirely  from home and for this reason I can offer very competitive prices together with quality ingredients. I can also spend as much time as it takes to  make sure that all my cakes are decorated to a high standard and meet all my customers’ expectations.

A large proportion of customers come to me from recommendation or are regular customers.
